Maternity Pictures

We were so lucky to have Legacy Photo offer to take our pics for free! She did a great job and we had lots of fun trying to capture the last few weeks of Cash in my belly!

WOW...time flies!

After a wonderful holiday season, we rang in the New Year getting to find out the sex of Janson baby #2! Cody and I went to the Dr to get our Ultrasound...we were so excited. The techician had a heck of a time getting the little peanut to do much of anything. She was shaking my belly around, having me drink a large coffee that I had on hand (of course!) and eating 2 peices of chocolate..in hopes of some activity. No such luck. The muchkin put it's hand up and turned away. I figrued we would have no luck finding out what we were having. Cody seemed pretty bored. I could hear him yawning behind me, which only fueled my aggrivation. Finally the technician announced it was a BOY! I of course started the waterworks, and as I looked at Cody...he began to tear up too! So excited that we are getting our little Cash William Janson!

November

November was a fun month! I celebrated my 33rd ( YIKES) Birthday with some close friends by hosting a brunch at the house. I didn't get to enjoy the Bloody Mary's..but everyone else did! My Mom ( Oma) also came to visit. She and Chloe had a great time making cookies, going to dinner and watching the movie, " Up"- Oma had a hard time not crying through a lot of it!

I am getting bigger by the minute...

Linder Farms!

In the spirit of Halloween...we headed out to pick our pumpkin this year! Linder Farms was a great place to do this. We purchased 10 " tokens" for Chloe and she was able to do everything from getting her pumpkin to riding a horse. We went with our friends the Oliphants, who have a gal Chloe's age and then a new little one. A great time was had by all!

A New Janson!

On Sept 18th 2010...we learned that we are expecting another Janson! Not sure of the exact due date...most likely end of May, but we are so excited! Chloe is thrilled with the idea of being a big sister. She talks to my tummy every day! The day we found out we were pregnant, I was at a work BBQ all day and when I got home Cody and I took Chloe to Hyde park days. There, we split a pitcher of beer ( nice!) and on the way home ( I didn't tell Cody) I ran into Albertsons and grabbed a early detection pregnancy test. Once home, Chloe and I went and took a bath. I quickly took the test and we proceeded with the bath. I jumped out to look and I was sure it was negitive. The closer I got I saw a very faint blue line. I had Chloe call Cody into the bathroom to tell him, " Mommy's Pregnant!" I then had Cody watch her while I put on a sweatsuit ( and hair with bubbles in it..courtesty of Chloe) and ran to Target to get a digital. I went into the stall of target and took the test..where I saw a positive!!!! I am currently 5 wks and have my first appt with the Dr. on Oct 13th!!

Oregon Coast

In August we took Chloe to Newport,Or. I had been dreaming of this moment. I remember my Dad telling me that he loved watching my face the first time I saw the ocean, I just assumed it would be the same for Chloe. We left at 4am and with construction, winding roads and the " scenic" route...it took 11 hours with a 2 year old in the car. Suprisingly....she was the good one! Cody and I were both tired of being in the car! Once we arrived, it was FREEZING! None the less..I got out the video camera and asked Cody to record this moment in time. The wind was blowing about 50 mph and Chloe was cold...the moment was over. I guess I forgot that the first time I saw the ocean was in California!!!! We had a wonderful time despite the weather and even were joined one day by Grandma and Papa. It was very memorable!
